Anguissa a fitness doubt for Arsenal opener
The Cameroon midfielder came off tired at San Siro. A fitness check on Monday 7 September at Castel Volturno will decide whether he faces Arsenal on Wednesday.

André-Frank Anguissa is a doubt for Napoli's Champions League opener against Arsenal after coming off tired in the defeat at Inter. He will be assessed at Castel Volturno on Monday 7 September, with head coach Massimiliano Allegri needing the result before the game at the Maradona on Wednesday 9 September at 21:00 CET.
Anguissa struggled in Saturday's 3-2 loss, missing a chance at an open goal in the second half before Inter turned the game around. A missed game for him would stretch a midfield already short on options: Scott McTominay, out with a heart arrhythmia, is due to have ablation surgery on Tuesday 8 September.

If Anguissa is unavailable, Billy Gilmour is the alternative to partner Stanislav Lobotka in midfield for Napoli's first European night under Allegri.
