Saliba out for Arsenal's Champions League opener at Napoli
Tuesday's prematch previews show Arteta light at the back, with Jurrien Timber and Yerson Mosquera also touch-and-go for Wednesday's game at the Maradona.

William Saliba will miss Arsenal's Champions League debut at the Maradona with a back problem. Jurrien Timber, dealing with pubalgia symptoms, and Yerson Mosquera are also in serious doubt for Arteta's side.
In front of David Raya, the probable Arsenal XI has White on the right, Konsa and Gabriel Magalhães in the centre, and Hincapié with a slight edge over Calafiori on the left. Rice and Guimarães anchor midfield, with Saka, Ødegaard and Tzolis behind Havertz, favoured over Gyökeres as the lone striker.

Allegri is expected to stick with his 4-3-3: De Bruyne starts alongside Lobotka and Anguissa, with Olivera slightly favoured over Spinazzola on the left. Politano and Neres are competing for the right-wing spot, and Alisson Santos has the edge over Lang to complete the front three with Højlund.
The picture is still to be confirmed in the coming hours, ahead of kick-off at 21:00 CET (20:00 UK, 15:00 ET) at the Maradona on Wednesday 9 September, the opening round of the Champions League's League Phase.
