Bologna coach Tedesco sent off, will miss Napoli trip

The flashpoint came right after Dovbyk's goal made it 2-2 in what was described as a chaotic finish. The referee judged Tedesco's protests from the bench too heated and produced a red card.

The sending-off triggers an automatic one-match ban. For the trip to the Maradona, Tedesco will not be allowed pitchside and will follow the game from the stands, leaving matchday management to his staff.
The 2-2 still gave Bologna their first league point of the season, but it came on a night that complicates their next assignment: a tough away game against a side the Emilian club describe as a tricky opponent, faced without their head coach on the touchline.
Napoli go into that game fresh from their Champions League opener against Arsenal on Wednesday. The Maradona reopens for league business only a few days later, with Bologna's bench that day run by Tedesco's staff rather than Tedesco himself.
