Beukema fit again, battles Rafa Marín for Milan start

The Dutch defender's condition has improved and Allegri weighs a change at centre-back for tonight's trip to San Siro.

Sam Beukema is feeling better and is pushing for a starting shirt in Inter-Napoli, kicking off at 18:00 CET today at the Giuseppe Meazza. The Dutch defender is trying to displace Rafa Marín at centre-back, with the battle for the shirt still open just hours before kick-off.

It is not Allegri's only selection dilemma. After the home defeat to Como, he changes several starters from the last two games: Leonardo Spinazzola and Alisson Santos return on the left in place of Mathías Olivera and Noa Lang, while a switch to a 4-2-3-1 remains on the table, with Kevin De Bruyne dropping from a midfield role into the number 10 position. On Friday 4 September, Benoît Badiashile received his first call-up for Napoli.

Napoli sit tenth with 3 points after the home loss to Como and a win in Genoa, and go to San Siro looking for immediate redemption against one of the sides level at the top of the table.
