Allegri: Inter are the real Scudetto favourites

Before the trip to San Siro, the head coach points to the two goals conceded against Como: "We could have avoided them, we need more attention."

"Inter, for me, are the real favourites for the Scudetto," Massimiliano Allegri said on the eve of the trip to San Siro. "As for us, right now we need to be a bit more careful, because on Sunday against Como we conceded two goals we could have avoided." That 1-2 home defeat opened Napoli's season, before a 2-0 win in Genoa put them back on track.

"During the season you concede goals, but they have to be conceded differently," Allegri explained. "The opposition need to do more than they did on Sunday, and we need a bit more attention on that front — but I think we'll definitely improve there." Napoli go into the San Siro fixture 10th with 3 points from two games, against an Inter side on 6.

Allegri widened the lens to close: "At the start of the season games are always strange, there's a bit less attention. There'll certainly be much more attention tomorrow, and much more again on Wednesday against Arsenal, whatever the final result is."
